About

Hi, I’m Pat!  I’m currently in my second year of law school at Indiana University, Maurer School of Law.  I created this website during my years at Xavier University in Cincinnati where I majored in History and Economics with a concentration in Public History.

Posts regard either public history projects or discussions in general or Okie Dust Bowl refugees in the 1930’s specifically.  I find their stories very interesting and often not told enough.  I hope you readers will as well.

All images should be properly accredited.  Still, if you’re perusing my site and hate me for using your image for any reason, please just let me know and I’ll take it down.

While my focus has shifted to law, I still love history and all the interesting ways it can be shared to the public.  I enjoyed my time at the Cincinnati Museum Center and the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education; I still return to each pretty often to check out new installments.  I also have to visit the Field Museum in Chicago yearly, where I first fell in love with history. I hope to get involved with museums and historical societies again someday, whether it be via representing them as clients, volunteering, or something else.

Don’t be afraid to contact me regarding any interests or questions!  I love meaningful dialogue, I think it’s part of what good history should provoke.
